Excited to start the year off with my new work included in Art Fluent’s online exhibition “In the Pink.”

Excited to have my work included in the “Seasons of the Mind” Juried Exhibition at Fescue Gallery in Lancaster, PA.

Had the opportunity to debut brand new work from my “How Do You Say Goodbye” series at the YCP Faculty Biennial. I managed to print and frame it just in time. Thank you to all who came out to the opening reception.

The National Alternative Print Show, an exhibition to showcase artists who push the boundaries of what print can be while expanding the language of printmaking. By embracing new processes and innovations, NAPS highlights the creativity, excellence, and thoughtfulness that define contemporary printmaking and alternative print practices today.
This show gives artists the space to exhibit work that extends past the traditional definitions and explores how artists use print to their advantage.

Then & Now, juried alumni exhibition. November 2025

Then & Now traces PCA&D’s history and legacy in the arts by featuring artwork made by alumni, both before and after graduation, who received degrees between 1987 and 2020. This exhibition reflects a student body who attended the school while it underwent important stages of development. During these years, PCA&D moved to locations in York, Marietta, and Lancaster, and was known by different names, including Pennsylvania School of the Arts and Pennsylvania School of Art & Design. This dynamic selection of work offers a glimpse into the life of an art student and how their artistic practice continues to develop in the decades following commencement. 

This is an older interview, but I never posted it on my website, so sharing it for anyone who would like to know more about my Second Skin series.

And that’s a wrap on this year’s SPE national conference! This was my first year working the conference as a Volunteer Co-Coordinator. The last few days included long hours, lots of scheduling changes, and running around to make sure everything was as it should be. The days were also full of inspiring lectures, meeting new people, and having the privilege of seeing work from photographers around the country.

Growing up, the week of Thanksgiving always meant Dad would be preparing for his annual week-long hunting trip. You would find him making piles of thermals, clothes, and hunting gear on the kitchen table. He would then spend time cleaning his gun and packing his duffle bags. He would have everything packed up and ready to go before Thanksgiving dinner. He would go to bed early after dinner in preparation for getting up before the crack of dawn to drive to his hunting camp in Eastern Shore, Maryland. He had been going there for over 20 years. I never saw the hunting property. It was the only thing he ever did for himself away from our family. This year there were no piles of clothes or gun cases spread around the kitchen table. I never thought I would miss that sight so much.

Excited to announce that I am a Finalist in the Head On Photo Awards! Which means I will have a piece on display in Sydney, Australia, next month. I am honored to have the opportunity to display work alongside many talented photographers for the Head On Photo Festival.

Can you guess which piece I will be showing for the festival? The show is open to the public from November 9th through December 1st. So you will have to wait until then to find out!

September 26, 2024 I had the privilege of visiting Salisbury University. Thank you to Jeanne Anderton and Cara Lee Wade for inviting me to speak to your students! I truly enjoyed the opportunity to share the trajectory of my work over the years.

I found this photo while sifting through old work as I prepare for an artist lecture. I miss being able to tell him about the things I am doing. I think this one is hitting me harder than I expected because I will be giving the artist lecture on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, near the town where he has gone to hunt every year since before I was born.

The invitation to present my work at Salisbury University came right after he passed away. Maybe it's a sign from Dad that he's still cheering me on—that he's still supporting my art and reminding me to keep going, even when the weight of grief feels especially heavy.
